Using Tables

Tables are often used in web pages to allow you to position or group items together at various locations in a page. Tables can be tricky to work with so it will take you a few tries to get the hang of tables.

1) Place your mouse cursor in line with where you want the table to be.

2) Click the Create Table button.

The Create Table box appears.

When you create a table, you need to think about how many columns and how many rows you will need before hand. Enter your choice in the boxes. You can enter a background color, the width of the table, alignment, border size and color, and cell padding and spacing.

Click OK to insert the table.

Once the table is in the page, place your mouse cursor in any of the cells to type text, add images, add links, etc...

The table columns and rows will automatically adjust as you enter text or add images.

Click the Save button to save your work.

Here you can see how the table looks live in the page.
