Connecting Outlook or Outlook Express to your email.

 

     You can download your email from the web server using Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. Open your Outlook program and follow the instructions below. Due to version differences, yours may look slightly different but the process is the same.

In Outlook or Outlook Express, click Tools, then click Accounts.
Click Add, select Mail.
Enter your name or Business name.
Enter your email address.
Enter the incoming and outgoing servers.
Enter your login info.
Click Finish to complete the account.
We need to set a few properties. Select your new account and click Properties.
On the Servers tab, Check the box for "My server requires authentication" and click the settings button.
Select "Log on using" then add your email address and password. Then click OK.
On the Advanced tab, set the outgoing Port to 587. If you may want to leave a copy of the email on the email server as a backup, select the checkbox (This also makes the emails available to you when you login online), and click OK.
You can now test your account new email account.
