Using the Member Manager

   Click the Admin button on your site and login.

   On the next page after logging in, click the link that says "I see you are an Administrator". (This link only appears if you have admin level login rights.)

   This is the Member Management Control Panel. You will not need to adjust any settings and you shouldn't unless you are very familiar with webmaster processes. Most of the process you will perform only involve member management and emailing members from the system.

   The only thing you will need to do on the Settings page is designate whether or not to allow registrations on your site. This is where anyone can register and login to your members area. They will also be part of your mailing list so you may want to do this to build your email list for your newsletter. If you want your members area to be private, uncheck the "Allow Registrations" checkbox, then click save at the bottom.

DO NOT adjust any other settings.

   Nest is the Users page. Here you will be able to administer your members. If your members area is private, this is where you will add members yourself. You only have to enter a username, password, and email address to register a new member. If you allow anyone to register, you will see the new members in this section.

CLICK the SUBMIT button to see the members list. (No data is required, just click submit.)

   This is the Member List. Here you will be able to click on any member name and see the details of that member. You can suspend or delete members, etc....

     NOTE: You should not set anyone as an Admin member except for yourself and the webmaster.

   On the Users page, you can click the Email Users button and send a newsletter out to your members. You can email one member, a group, or your entire database of members.

   Next, click the Files button. This section allows you to upload files for download by your members. These files will automatically be listed on the first page the member comes to after logging in. You can set the level of access to files as well.

IMPORTANT NOTE;

If you are not hosted with LogicFlame.com, you must contact your hosting company and have them set the permissions for the following folders to "Read / Write" (the hosting company will know what this means.)

http://yourdomainname.com/images/
and

     NOTE: This system has a built in function for processing registration payments (If you want to charge for members area access) through PayPal. This system works great for paid downloads. Contact the webmaster if you want the system to be a "Paid For" membership system.

   The Active Users Page is simply a listing of any member currently logged in. You can click any of the usernames to see details about that members.
